Polystyrene Plastics Testing

- Jun 16, 2016-

Detection is the use of plastic materials or of plastic plastic products through a variety of technology, using high-tech analytical instruments to detect, then reverse derivation of plastic test results through technical staff, finally completing the process of qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples of unknown composition. Technicians in the process in addition to relying on advanced equipment support, but also has a wealth of industry knowledge and theoretical knowledge.

Polystyrene (PS) is a thermoplastic resin, due to its low price and easy to process, so is widely used. Polystyrene homopolymers (transparent granules) or toughened graft copolymers or blends and elastomer (high-impact polystyrene IPS) form. Polystyrene copolymers in physical properties and thermal properties than the homopolymer increases. There are several types of polystyrene grades, such as transparent standard IPS and standard grades, environmental stress crack resistance grades (ESCR), UV levels. Flame retardant, high wear-resistant level, lightweight parts for flexible grade, grade foam, Super Junior, and low grade residual volatile. Polystyrene resin used in the manufacture of everyday disposable tableware, car parts, packing materials, toys, building materials, electrical appliances and household supplies.
